Improve Reading: A Culture's Challenge
The IRA meeting held March 10, 2012 highlighted technological means to improve reading, as well as this year's Read-A-Thon excitement! Its theme was "Improve Reading: A Culture's Challenge." Presentations included the following: "Using Class Blogs to Enhance Literacy" by Dr. Matilda Naputi Rivera and Grace Griffin, "Tech-Key-Reader" by Mary Livingston, and the announcement of Read-A-Thon 2012 school representative winners. A special raffle drawing to the annual IRA Convention in Chicago, Illinois was also held. Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to everyone who made the meeting a success!
