Guam ILA Receives ILA Honor Council Award for 2016-2017 at the ILA Conference in Orlando, Florida
The Guam Council ILA has been instrumental in promoting literacy on Guam since 1968 and was recognized as an HONOR COUNCIL of the International Literacy Association for its achievements in programs, membership, promotion, and community service. Annual Book Donation - June 23

Members of the Guam Council of the International Reading Association 2016-2017 Board received a special "Celebrate Literacy" award in honor of the their exemplary service in the promotion of literacy on May 6, 2017 during the IRA general membership meeting at JQ San Miguel Elementary School.
