IRA Grant Winners


Vivian Wolff, Chairperson of IRA’s Grants Committee, presented checks to Joseph Certeza of St. Francis Catholic School, for his grant project entitled, “Empowering CHamoru Language in the Classroom”, and to Haane Barcinas of Agueda Johnston Middle School, for her grant project entitled, “Addressing Deviant Behavior in Youth & Promoting Student Literacy with Mentor Texts from Authors Across Oceania”.
