Guam IRA Fall 2020 Grant Recipient
Congratulations to our IRA Fall 2020 grant recipient, April Torres! Torres, a second-grade teacher from Price Elementary School, received a grant check from the IRA Grant Committee for her proposed literacy project titled, We Can All Be Heroes - How Ordinary People Changed the World. She aims to establish a classroom library of age-appropriate nonfiction biographies of historical figures using fun and thought-provoking lessons. We wish her the best in her project!
