Condolences for Beth McClure

The IRA family extends its deepest condolences and sympathies to the family of Beth McClure, our beloved former IRA President. She will always be remembered. God Bless her and her family. May she rest in peace.

During the IRA meeting held May 19, 2012, IRA installed its new officers for council year 2012-2013: President, Jonathan Pilarca; President-Elect, Debbie C. Duenas; Recording Secretary, Martha Sudo; Corresponding Secretary, Erlinda Arriola; and Treasurer, Geraldine Biliran.

IRA members were also treated to a special end-of-the year review and delighted by the work of local author Stephen Tenorio, Jr. He shared his first novel, An Ocean in a Cup. Congratulations to all!  Have a great summer!

During the IRA meeting held April 14, 2012 , teachers whose students participated in the annual IRA Read-A-Thon were able to use vouchers to purchase items for their classrooms, including paperback and hardcover books, professional resources, novelties, and more.
